Integrated production models bring together multiple disciplines – from production planners to subsurface and process engineers. Previso allows the creation of each facet of the production system within a single software package. From simple to extremely complex reservoir and production systems, ranging from several to thousands of wells, Previso can handle daily, monthly forecasting in a matter of minutes. The fact that it can achieve this in minutes, is what will revolutionize your forecasting workflow and effort. In a single file, you can now generate hundreds of cases and quantify all your uncertainties in a practical timeframe.
By modelling the reservoir fluid compositionally, Previso can also define multiple products associated with gas-condensate developments and allow you to optimize, prioritize and constrain the forecast to any product ‘on the fly’ without any complicated post-processing.
This session will lead you through how the software models each facet of the production system within a single software package as well as highlight the key functionality of the Previso software. We will also show some typical modelling applications and outline the compelling reasons our customers have given us for choosing Previso as their forecasting tool.
If you are technically focused and your role is in production modelling and forecasting, either as an Operator or Joint Venture Partner, then this seminar will interest you.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with Honours (1995) and a PhD in Geomechanics (1999) from the University of Western Australia. My experience has been in Reservoir Engineering and Production Technology, focusing mainly on production forecasting over the last 21 years in the industry. In Australia, I have worked and consulted for most International Operators, building, and maintaining production forecasting models across a wide range of LNG, Domestic Gas and Oil assets. My workflows have ranged from conceptual design, field development planning through to daily operations, history-matching and calibration, production allocation, production optimisation as well as identifying debottlenecking and work-over opportunities. I have also conducted extensive training for the industry professionals in aspects of detailed hydraulic well modelling, artificial lift selection and design as well as integrated production modelling.
